WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Argh!
I belted my way through this book over the last week, after starting to read it when I went along to a talk from this author (and her husband).
Thoughts? Opinions?
Uhm... can I come back to this? My brain is all over the place at the moment.
But, I dropped this book off moments ago into TQD's letter box (after having to ask for instructions), as part of the Southern Cross Book Exchange (on www.bookobsessed.com).
Sorry for taking so long TQD.

Thank you very much Jubby! The book was found in our letterbox today by Miss Boo, who was rather fascinated that one could find things that aren't parcels or letters (or bills, I muttered darkly) in the mailbox.
Glad you found us, we are in a tricky bit of Sydney, and many a takeaway deliver person is probably still wandering around, lost, after trying to deliver a pizza to us...
I did just finish a week or two ago Hustvedt's latest (The Sorrows of an American) and absolutely loved it, so I am really looking forward to reading this one.

Oh no, I read this weeks ago, and only just realised I hadn't made a journal entry! (Sorry, jubby!) I thought it was marvellous dense stuff, about art and life and psychopathology. No, really.
Anyhoo, this is off to the Oz Virtual Book Box to find another happy reader.
UPDATE 19 NOV 2009: And it'll be on its way to KLL asap! (Hang on, don't I also owe KLL a bookring...?)

Happy reading!
Received in the post today. Thanks TQD!
Finally got round to reading this and... wow! Loved it. Beautiful dense writing, coupled with such a gripping storyline, made this a very quick and compulsive read. A wonderful combination of art, literature and psychology.
In the interest of full disclosure, gave this to BF and he was very meh about it. Oh well - guess he has no taste!! :-) Taking to the Perth BC Meetup tomorrow
I have had this book far too long and I have finally read it. Absolutely wonderful, a thrilling read. The characters became alive to me from the first page and I could not put the book down. Intellectually stimulating, enjoyable read.
I forgot to say that I picked this book up from the Bookcrossing Club in Perth WA. I have now moved back to NSW and I currently live on the beautiful south coast. Of course, the book has travelled with me. I will release it at a neighbourhood centre in my local county town next week. Watch out for it. It is a GREAT READ!!!!
