Darwin's Children

The sequel to the Nebula Award winner, Darwin's Radio.
I gave away Darwin's Radio after reading it (great book!). I wasn't going to ever give *this* book up, because Bear's description of the spiritual experience of one of the major characters rocked my world, it was such an excellent description of my own experience! In an afterword -- and elsewhere, in an interview available online -- Bear says more about this. He claims that, from his own research, at least half of humankind has had the same experience. Interestingly, he remains an atheist, because no existing religion describes the kind of God he experienced; while, for myself, I chose to remain a Christian, and just be a heretic. :)
The addendums also include a two-page biological primer, a short glossary of scientific terms, and a reading list for those intrigued by the science behind the ideas of Darwin's Radio and Darwin's Children.
