Synopsis

One day Tess was the crown princess of Costenopolie, and the next she discovered she was a beggar's child, reared as a decoy to keep the real princess safe from assassins. Ok, I have read both books and have enjoyed them to my surprise. Let me just say that I wish I had known there was a dictionary of terms in the back of the second book, Dead Man Rising. Things would have made more sense to me, if I had known that. So be forewarned to go over the definitions BEFORE you start reading the books. It will make things much clearer to you as the reader.

ETA (5/24/07): Currently reading - about halfway through. I've PM'ed macewoman for her address and plan to mail both books to her next week.

I finished this book yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked continuing to learn more about Dante and her friends after the events of "Working for the Devil."

Finished this book this afternoon and really enjoyed it. Dante got a little whiny for me, but then again she has been through the wringer. I also liked being able to continue the story immediately with this second book. My only complaint is that I have to wait for the next installments to come out.

I've PMed the next person, but there hasn't been a response. With PMs being so wonky I'll send another message and hope it has better luck getting through. I'll mail these both on as soon as possble.
