This was an entertaining novel, especially all those descriptions of the banquets, the food and the eating habbits.I didn’t really found the story of Ugo and his daughter particularly interesting or well achieved, in fact I found Ugo’s character quite naive and a little foolish. But still I had a good time reading this book and that’s what counts. Thanks, as always, to my BC godmother and good friend conto. |
