12 journalers for this copy...
This is a collection of letters send to various institutions, shops, magazines, et cetera, with the most bizarre and hilarious requests, thank you notes, job enquiries, et cetera in them. Great fun!

Whee, received the book today, can't wait to read! :) Thank you and Happy New Year to you, wollie!
EDIT: There are some serious gems amongst these letters. I've had fun with these and now it's time for this book to travel again! I wrapped it up as a little book give-away for our Capital Area Bookcrossers Christmas Party. Boy, did we have fun at the party and with this book!

By a funny coincidence the book was left behind at our little Christmas party and I received the book back today. I'll read first and then start the ring moving.

It's moving, finally! Received the book today. I think I was the one who left it behind at the party as I thought Purina will take it... Whoops and sorry!
I have three rings at home at the moment, so reading it will take some time. Sorry 'bout that too. I'll give you my "Bookcrosser's Resolution": I'll be as quick as I can, but I have a lot of TBR's...

Nah, I don't feel like it. I think it's time for me to forward this book to next participant. Thanks anyway!

I got the book from todays meeting since Purina didn't make it... I can't wait to read it. It's going to take some time 'cause I have to keep my mind on entrance examinatios.. But I'll read this book the next day. :)
EDIT: I know I wasn't suppose to read this yet, but one night I took it with me to bed. And for some reason it didn't make me laugh at all.. Sorry.. It just didn't do the trick. So the next one on the list is going to get it.

Didn't like this book much. Ove of my jobs has been opening letters from public, and trust me, the letters in this book were nowhere near as nutty as some I've had to read.
Some of them were slightly amusing, but mostly unimaginitive and dull. Plus it's always a warning sign when the name of the person who wrote the introduction is bigger on the cover than the name of the actual author...

The book arrived today. I already read some letters. So far they have been mildly amusing but at the same time they repeat themselves quite a lot.

I had a "coffee break" with Savotar yesterday, and got this book from her. I read a few letters already: some of them were really funny, some just OK. I think I will read this quite quicky - and after that I will figure out who is the next on the list (I think Kemppu and Em64 have been skipped).

Like one of the previous readers, I have been dealing with written claims. Maybe that is why most of the letters in this book seemed like a total waste of time - both for the people answering, and me reading them.. It wasn't at all as hilariuous as I thought it would be. I didn't read it all, hopefully it gets better towards the end.
PMing Kemppu for the address.

The book arrived today. Thanks!
I misunderstood the concept of this book. Until I got it, I thought it was a collection of strange/funny letters from various people, collected by this Ted L. Nancy. However, all the letters were written by Ted L. Nancy (whoever he is), who seems to get his kicks out of writing weird request/complain/thank you letters to hotels, companies etc. I think the book would have been much funnier if it indeed was a collection of letters by different people. Now, it was actually quite lame. I didn't read all the letters either, just some here and there.
The book goes to em64 next.

Finally, after summer holidays I had a chance to attend the BC-meetup and Kemppu was able to pass it on to me. Will read it soon, I hope.
I really did not like this book, I didn't find the letters at all funny. Customer service people do get a lot of funny and weird letters and REAL letters would probably have been a better read than these fake letters. I only laughed once reading this book and it was a reply that caused it. I spent more time contemplating whether Ted L. Nancy is actually Jerry Seinfeld who wrote the introduction than concentrating on the letters.
This book arrived a few days ago. Thank you!
I'll read it as soon as possible.

What can I say! After reading this book, I'm sorry for those who are working in customer services. The book reminds me of finnish website www.aasiakas.net.
This book goes next to Tiina65.

Arrived in the mail, thank you Melodramma. Will offer it to my hubby to read, see if he thinks it's funny. Then I will read it myself.
Well, I read it... or most of it, anyway. It was funny at times, but not hilarious. It probably would have been a lot funnier had I been to the Xmas party last year.. with a glass of wine and some good company to share it with!
