Description:
Time is a resource. Everyone knows it has to be managed. And on the Discworld that is the job of the Monks of History, who store it and pump it from the places where it's wasted (like the underwater - how much time does a codfish need?) to places like cities, where there's never enough time. But the construction of the world's first truly accurate clock starts a race against, well, time for Lu Tze and his apprentice Lobsang Ludd. Because it will stop time. And that will only be the start of everyone's problems. Thief of Time comes complete with a full supporting cast of heroes, villains, yetis, martial artists and Ronnie, the fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse (who left before they became famous).

I've given this book to my uncle.
...and it's back with me. (my uncle read it and then returned it to me)

Got this from Kindred--Spirit at the meeting in Delft today, thank you so much for bringing it all the way from Limburg in your little trolley. :D Looking forward to reading this!
I finally got around to reading this book! I can't believe it took me so long.
I really enjoyed this book. I must admit I'd gotten a bit tired of Terry Pratchett lately as all of his books are kind of the same. They are the same in style, and I was starting to get a bit bored with it. This book however I really liked. First of all, it stars my favourite character in Discworld: Death. And second, I really liked the story and the philosophy behind it. Some of Pratchett's books sort of get lost in numerous jokes & wordplay, but in "Thief of Time" the story keeps shining through and remains interesting until the very end.
As the book has been with me for such a long time, I'm going to try and find a new reader for it soon!

It took me a while to find someone to send it to, but it's now in its way to Savotar in Finland. Enjoy!

I tried reading this book but at page 80, when I still hadnt got into the plot, I decided to give up. Not my kind of book, but there's already a new reader for the book in Argentina. I hope she enjoys it!

Great!! HUGE, heavy, hardcover, beautiful book. And I just LOVE Terry Pratchett (as other fellow bookcrossers in Argentina do, too) so I am thrilled (and fellow crossers will be, too)

Wow. Another FANTASTIC Pratchett. These books are a mixture of satire and wisdom, intelligence and use of words. Pratchett uses words as if they were objetcts or jewels or swords. I've always admired the use of typography as a way of giving meaning. This is the kind of book that has you suddenly laughing in the bus as everybody throws suspicious glances. It's also the book that leaves you thinking about some deep, wonderful statement. I quite enjoyed this book. I'll pass it along for others to enjoy
