It's hard to tell by looking at the cover, but his book is merely a compilation of the first two books in Huff's "Valor" series. The next novel will be out in July.

Valor's Choice: A good story and well written. Tanya Huff is, I hope, starting a new series with this one. 'Staff Sergeant Torin Kerr was a battle-hardened professional [in an interstellar war against aliens].... She and her platoon were yanked from a well deserved leave for easy duty as an honour guard for a diplomatic mission... The key thing was to recruit the lizardlike Silsviss into the Confederation before the Others attacked or claimed this race of warriers for their own side....' Of course, once they meet the Silsviss, things start to get interesting.

The Better Part of Valor: Now that she's come to the attention of General Morris, Staff Sergeant Torin Kerr and her marines are sent to investigate a giant, and apparently derelict space-ship. It soon becomes apparent that whoever (or whatever) is in charge on Big Yellow has plans for them.
