Another great book about the Discworld! This book stars Captain Vimes and (soon to be Constable) Carrot Ironfoundson. And there's the dragons, of course...

From the back of the book: This is where the dragons went. They lie...not dead, not asleep, but...dormant. And although the space they occupy isn't like normal space, nevertheless they are packed in thightly. They could put you in mind of a can of sardines, if you thought sardines were huge and scaly. And presumably, somewhere, there's a key...

I can't believe it's already a year ago I got this book! Sorry!

I finally got around to reading this and really enjoyed it. Terry Pratchett's books are a bit hit and miss to me, I've recently read "The Fifth Elephant", which stars the same set of characters, but that one was a bit of a struggle to get through. "Guards! Guards!" however was delightful. Very funny, in a typical Terry Pratchett way.

I don't know yet what I'll do with this book now; hopefully I'll find an interested reader somewhere.
