Journal Entry 1 by KateKintail from Burke, Virginia USA on Friday, December 08, 2006
This is one of my favorite Shakespearian plays. It's so dark and compelling, full of drama and fantastic characters. This version is full of interesting additions to the play, including an illustrated overview of Shakespeare and his plays, and several essays analyzing the various themes and aspects of Macbeth. My favorite of these is a selection from 'Chronicles of England, Scotland, and Ireland'.
