Because this book is subtitled The Best of Travel Humor and Misadventure, I had to choose between the categories of Travel and Humor. I chose Humor. I like Humor.
Bought this for myself while buying Christmas gifts for others. Merry Christmas jblue!

It was alright. Nothing to write home about. If I had to pick favorites - which I don't, but I will - I'd pick Caryl Rivers's Dragging the Family to the Magic Kingdom and David Foster Wallace's Shipping Out. Their respective stories of a day at Disney and taking a cruise reminded me of my travels last summer. Also worth the price of admission are Susan Storm's An Alarming Time, Ralph Schoenstein's A New Tourist in Town, and Bill Bryson's The Wrong Number.
I'm going to give this to a friend today before we do some Norvan traveling. She's the most well-traveled person I know. And by "give this" I mean "surreptitiously place somewhere at her place".
