ooo, this came from pembroke...I was born there...how much fun. I received this book, probably last week, but was on vacation and just arrived today. I got my mail, and well now I got to unpack, buy food etc...I will try and get to this book next week sometime after I settle down.

I apologize for the lengthy time in reading this, between my sister in law being in the hospital for a month, changing jobs, behind on another ring...life just was crazy. Anyway, I finally finished this ring and I must say I felt more Canadian than I realized I was. My husband even was able to read it and loved every minute of it as well. He immigrated from South Africa and enjoyed reading something that filled in the suttle Canianisms. Anyway, I also though it was so funny and great...I wonder though if I were to lie a little would the editor Scott still come to my home and wash my car? I mean, that was written 2 years ago, is the ink dry now? Well time to find the next in line to read this great book.

It was worth the wait! I really enjoyed this funny look at Canadian culture. I read most of the book out loud to my husband and we had fun laughing over the book together.
