Journal Entry 4 by mlbish from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA on Wednesday, June 21, 2006
Since I ended up with an extra copy of this book, I'm going to send this one traveling in a ray! I am into low stress bookcrossing, so if you need to keep the book more than a few weeks, please make a journal entry to let us know when you'll be able to finish and pass it on. The important thing is that the everybody has an opportunity to enjoy the book, and that we all have fun! I encourage everyone to make a journal entry with their thoughts on the book when they're finished.

Here is the list. I may do some rearranging as the book travels, or as new bookcrossers join, but I will always do my best to honor shipping preferences. I mark the person who has the book in their possession in bold.

Journal Entry 13 by Mamikaem from Maryland Heights, Missouri USA on Sunday, October 22, 2006
Received this in the mail yesterday. It still has Betsy-STL's Busch Stadium postcard in it. Nice to see something familiar in a BC book, especially since our St. Louis Cardinals are now playing in the World's Series! (Go Cards!)

I'll be getting to this as soon as possible, but I have a few books in front. Thanks for including me, mlbish!

UPDATE: 11/30/06 - slowly making my way through my stack of book rings/rays and finally to this one! Starting this today.

Journal Entry 14 by Mamikaem from Maryland Heights, Missouri USA on Thursday, December 14, 2006
Wow! I thought this was one of Alice Hoffman's better ones. It was one of those "can't put it down" reads! If it weren't for my busy schedule, I probably could have read it all in one day. Passing it along to Invern next, as soon as I can get to the post office.

Mailed to Inver on 02/02/07. My deepest apologies for holding onto this so long.

Journal Entry 15 by Inver from Aberdeen, Scotland United Kingdom on Saturday, March 17, 2007
Arrived today. I have just started another bookring so may be a few weeks before I get to this one. Thank you Mamikaem for sending it on.

13/4/07 Hoping to get this finished soon....3/4 way through.

Journal Entry 16 by Inver from Aberdeen, Scotland United Kingdom on Sunday, April 15, 2007
My second Alice Hoffman but glad it wasn't my first (Blue Diary was and really enjoyed so much I wanted to share started a bookring) but can't say this wouldn't have had the same enthusiasm. When I started it I thought it was going to be a great read, but have to say I began to lose interest when I was nearly 3/4 way through. I didn't give up on it though, but I found it disappointing and was glad when it finished. I felt I was just reading it for the sake of getting to the end to find out what happened. Also....why was it called 'Turtle Moon'? Don't think I figured that out or did I miss the point of the referral!!

I have the address of the next on the list and will post it off soon.

Received this book the day before my surgery, so I am just now getting around to the JE-- my apologies.
I am placing this one on top of Mt. TBR to be read as soon as I finish my current book. I should start this one by Monday.
Thanks so much for the book and the postcards!

Journal Entry 23 by Jayebirck from Dallas, Texas USA on Sunday, December 16, 2007
A fun read by Alice Hoffman who is one of my favorite authors. Am reserving it until I contact the ray/ ring originator to see what to do with the book next. Thanks for including me!
I still think Practical Magic, Here on Earth and Blue Diary are Hoffman's better works. Although this got harder to put down the further I read into the book.
