At times strange and silly, at other times sad and serious, this lyrical book is a must read. The descriptions are sometimes baffling, but always fitting. I will be mailing this to quinaveve this weekend.
In the mail to Guinaveve today
I was very happy to receive this in the mail today. I will probably start on it tomorrow after I finish the book I am currently reading. In anticipation of getting this book soon, I already have the address of the next participant. I have been wanting to read this, so thank you for starting the ring, buocl.
The cover pictured at left is not the same cover as the book in the ring, but I like it.

Received this one in the mail as part of a book ring. Began reading it immediately!
This book was a little bit of a disappointment for me. I guess maybe I simply wasn't in the right mood for a fairy tale. I did enjoy the humor and writing style however; and the ending was pretty good. Today I'm sending it on to Firegirl.
Arrived safely today. I really loved the movie, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it compares to the original written work. Will start it straight away.
Much as I was looking forward to this book, I just couldn't get into it and I've no idea why. Maybe I'm too familiar with the story, maybe I, too, am not in the "mood" for a fairy tale right now. Whatever it is, I kept finding myself setting the book down for another one on my shelf. It isn't fair for me to keep others in line from reading it so I've sent it on to the next in line. Thanks for including me though, buocl!
this arrived today. i really look forward to reading it... and i just happened to be between books when this arrived.
I think this one came today today, though I had a pile of BX books waiting for me. I'll try my darndest to have this out by July (I think three other rings came today...)
