International Recipe Journal!
1. Please make journal entries in your own handwriting. You can add printed material, but please make the journal entry in your own hand!!!
2. Use three or four pages ... OK, or more.
3. Please add a bit of information about yourself, your hometown, the recipe you are including, anything you think others might find interesting.
4. PLEASE use English if you can, otherwise, maybe provide a translation from a translation site. That would be helpful.
5. Little drawings, photos, diagrams, etc are welcome (and encouraged!)
6. Make your entry as individual as you are, as charming as your country is!
7. Try your best to move the journal to the next person quickly!
8. Have FUN! This is an ADVENTURE!

International Recipe journal #3 is here and I am already writing in it. I can't wait til it makes its rounds and we all get a copy of it. This is the first book ring that I am participating in and it is all very exciting. Will post again when it gets mailed off to the next person.
I mailed the journal today from Bloomfield, NJ and it's on its way to Canada. It did turn out that the next person on the list is gypsysmom. Glad we got that straightened out!
Wow, DiannC you really packaged this journal up well. I had quite a time breaking into it. But it was worth it. I've read both your entries and am thinking about my own which I hope to do this weekend and then I will get it on its way again.

After sending two pms to LogansBabo (I got your little joke DoveiLibri when I read her bookshelf page) and getting no response, I pm'd Thursday5 last night and a pm was waiting for me this morning. I will put the journal in the mail to her on Monday. I found a few postcards to add to the pack so I hope people will take some out and also some of the little Canadian flags I have included. Thanks so much and I'm eagerly waiting for the final copies.
The International Recipe Journal arrived safe and sound in cold and snowy Ohio. These wonderfully warm pages have already warmed my heart. I can't wait to get started on my pages. Thank you Dove i Libri for starting this project.
I had been trying to find some extended time to sit down and write in the recipe journal and my time came unexpectedly today when we had a day off from school because of sub zero temperatures (F). I enjoyed reading what others had written and making my own entry. Food is so tied up with who we are-our family history, our national history, our social ties (including bookcrossing) , and what is important to us, so that is how I framed my entry. Thanks for starting this DoveiLibri.

It's here!! Recipe Journal 3 arrived in Olympia, WA from Thursday 5 in Ohio today. I am going to enjoy looking through it this evening and planning my contribution.
The journal is on the way from Olympia, Washington to Lottiotta in Wales today. The Post Office says it should take about a week to arrive. I had great fun remembering the food traditions of my family and writing about them.

Finished writing recipes for Welsh Rarebit, Welsh Cakes and Onion Marmalade yesterday, hope everyone gets to read, cook and enjoy them because these rock! I also wrote in a Gas mark/celsius/fahrenheit conversion table, and an ounces/grams conversion table, because I thought it would come in handy for all the different people used to different units.
I am now PMing andthings to send it on ASAP, probably today. :) Thanks much, Doveilibri!

Oh wow this arrived today with lots of goodies. I don't know where to begin.

We're a little upset. This book seems to have pulled an Amelia Earhart on its way from "Smurphie" in Scotland to "MiekePieke" in the Netherlands. So much work, so many people writing and drawing and putting thought into the project * sigh * will keep you all up to date if I hear anything.
