An absolute classic from Agatha Christie - but what else would you expect from her? :-) The story of ten very different people who find themselves invited to an idyllic island where there's much more going on than meets the eye. And then really serious things start to happen ...

An excellently crafted thrilled, recommended for anyone who enjoys intelligent crime stories. See if you can guess the murderer before everything is revealed. ;-)

I'm listing this book as TBR since I want to read it again before releasing it. But that shouldn't take too long as it's quite short - this edition, from Fontana Books and printed in 1972, is 190 pages.

I got this book at a flea market at Vinderen elementary school in Oslo on Sunday, November 5th, 2006.

Well, it didn't take long once I actually started ... ;-)

I've read the book now, finished it the day before yesterday. An entertaining read - fortunately I had forgotten most of the details of the story. A very clever mystery, brilliantly constructed with lots of psychological tension. A must-read for any mystery fan.

The book will be released by and by, we'll see what I can think of to do with it. :-)

I took this book with me from "La Baquette". Good old Agatha Christie! I have read this before, but I don't remember that much about it. Right now I feel like couple of murders would be nice so here we go...

Was quite fun this! Read it in one sitting. When I've tried reading Christie again, it has often felt a bit too much like doing the crossword, but the added heat of passion and thriller style in this book made it more than that. Like a lot of other mysteries from between the wars, the attitudes are of course outdated and sometimes grating, but then again, it was a different era.
