This was an engaging read. Though not packaged as one, it reads like a historical romance. I was distracted throughout, waiting for the protagonist to become aware of who her true love was and the circumstances that would enable them to get together.

Well, this just JUMPED to the top of Mount TBR since it was requested by my friend and fellow BookCrosser (Book_Drunkard) during an Autumn Book-Picking activity (instead of apple-picking!) on Facebook.

Oct. 27, 2017: Preparing for a controlled release soon. I really enjoyed this book very much. I love women's history, especially told through fictionalized characters. The old knowledge is valuable.
