Journal Entry 1 by Charlieboots76 from Ringwood, Hampshire United Kingdom on Thursday, November 16, 2006

Well I am moving soon and need to get rid of a few books so I am setting up this bookbox, I am setting it up as a ring so hopefully after a few months of travelling I will get some great new books to read too. It is shoebox size and I have managed to get 9 books in there! It's my first bookbox....I hope it's not the last!!

Rules
1) No Mills and Boon or similar please, mystery/thriller and SciFi only
2) Don't hold onto it too long before passing on
3) Put in as many books as you take out ( If there is room!)If you want to fill gaps, that's fine too.
4) Journal when you get it, and when you send it on.
5)Have fun!

The list of books in the box is;

Velocity by Dean Koontz
The Keep by F. Paul Wilson
The Magic Bullet by Harry Stein
Imagica by Clive Barker
Thud by Terry Pratchett

Collected from the Post Office today (before they go on strike again!). Very happy to find a Terry Pratchett book I hadn't read.
I am replacing it with a 'How to write' book with contributions from Bradbury, Zimmer Bradley, Koontz etc. plus a Dr Who book.
Hope to post it on tomorrow if I get the address quickly.

Journal Entry 22 by Sterile from Burnley, Lancashire United Kingdom on Sunday, December 9, 2007
Arrived this morning by a rally driver postman (or so he thought) charging up the street in his big red van trying to knock the wing mirrors off all the parked cars!! Sunday deliveries must be trying to stem the flow for Christmas somewhat. Anyway, Pming bigcurlyloz immediately to try and get this one shifted asap to make up some lost time from earlier in the year Cheers!

Journal Entry 23 by Sterile from Burnley, Lancashire United Kingdom on Saturday, December 15, 2007
No reply yet from Bigcurlyloz but I have had no internet from Tuesday untill this morning thanks to BT and Tascalli! I am going to pm again now, but it's getting to be silly time at the post office soon!!

Traveling tomorrow to an address given by Bigcurlyloz. Won't be able to take it home on the plane but will pick it up on way back to University after Christmas. Parcel or 2nd Class rate 17th January 2007

Journal Entry 25 by bigcurlyloz from Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, December 19, 2007
Wow that was quick! It has arrived before I've even left university!! Not sure there's much I fancy in there at the moment but I might scan wishlists and see if there's anything I can take out for other people.

I'll probably pass this on in January as I hate Post Offices at Christmas time!

Journal Entry 26 by bigcurlyloz from Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire United Kingdom on Saturday, January 5, 2008
There's nothing that took my fancy but so I could move on some books from other bookcrossers, I have taken out Life Support and Night of the Living Rerun, and put in Virtual Light and The Crysalids.

I will pm ktwalker now....

Journal Entry 27 by bigcurlyloz from Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, January 16, 2008
