Danny Wallace was bored. Just to see what would happen, he placed a whimsical ad in a local London paper. It said, simply, 'Join Me'. Within a month, he was receiving letters and e-mails from intrigued strangers all over the country, eager to sign up. Teachers, mechanics, sales reps, vicars, school children, pensioners - all pledged allegiance to his cause. None knew what this cause was. Soon he was proclaimed the Leader. Increasingly obsessed and possibly power-crazed he risked losing his sanity and his loyal girlfriend. But who could deny the attraction of a global following of devoted joinees? I loved this book when I read it! This copy is off to my Relay Boxing Day Exchange partner.

I was actually afraid to open this package since I'm part of one of the yearly exchanges and I thought this one might be from that but I noticed the sender wasn't anyone in my list of partners for that exchange so I gingerly opened the package and checked the journal entry. And it was a surprise RABCK!!! Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you SO much for sending this, alsgal. Especially as I know international shipping is a killer around there. Thank you!!
