9 out of 10

I'm sending this out with 2 other books that are on my Club V.L.A.D. secret santa swap's wish list. I was happy to get her as she is someone who has been very generous with her own books with me. Enjoy! And Merry Christmas!

Woohoo!! A wishlist book for me from my Secret Santa Michey! Thank you hon! :-*

Book Description
I'm Aisling Grey, and multitasking is my middle name....

It's not easy being a demon lord, a Guardian, and a wyvern's mate all at once. Luckily, I just moved to London to study all things Guardian with my mentor. A new start is exactly what I need after being betrayed (again!) by Drake, wyvern of the green dragons. Though I'm supposedly immortal, I'm not so sure my heart can take another beating.

But I'm still offically Drake's mate—and my presence is required at a metting of the green dragons. How I'm going to keep my distance from that fire-breathing hunk is beyond me. It doesn't help that several annoying attempts have been made on my life. Or that I'm wanted by the entire otherworldly population of imps since Jim, my doggie demon sidekick, accidentally ate their ruler. Being an alpha dragon and all, Drake is sure to get protective of me—which might not be a bad thing when war breaks out nd all hell breaks loose... literally

7 out of 10

This is the third book in the Aisling Grey, Guardian series.

Whenever I start reading these Aisling Grey books, I read all the girly-girl romance crap at the beginning and think to myself, I'm not going to read any more from this series after this one. I just don't have the time with all the other great books I've got waiting on my shelf. However, about halfway into the book, it begins to pick up the pace and grab my interest, and then ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger so that I'm looking forward to the next book again. LOL

This time, Aisling and Drake are romping around London, and as usual, Aisling is doing her best to keep herself alive. She's had one too many close brushes with death, and this time around is no different as she's got no less than three different groups gunning for her! Besides coming into some new, darker powers, she's also had quite a change of heart with regards to on-again/off-again her relationship with Drake, which now appears to be going strong! But if this will continue as her "dark side" continues to tempt her will remain to be seen in the next book.

This is now reserved for Pepper, who pulled it from the Paranormal VBB back in round 12. I'll be sending it out to her shortly along with My Big, Fat Supernatural Wedding, which she picked up in an ALS.

(Spoiler, highlight to read)I'm SOOOO glad that this book didn't end the same way as the last two. I would have given up on the series had it ended with her leaving Drake AGAIN.

That said, though I enjoyed this book, I probably won't be in a huge hurry to get the next one as I'm starting to feel like all the things that happen to Ashling are getting a little TOO much for me. I'm getting kind of tired of super-special people that everything happens to and everyone wants a piece of. There are 6 billion people in the world... surely not everyone wants only one. *shrugs*

Going to catsalive. Well, to AlterEgoZoe for cats' m-bag. :D
