An enjoyable holiday read. When I first started this book, I was concerned that it was going to be a bit like Chocolat with all the food mentions, but it wasn't, and the food mentions were enjoyable (although they did make me hungry at times) I admire the author's decision to combine Iranian culture with Irish culture, and all that resulted in the mix. This book felt both familiar and different at the same time :-) I shall put this back on L1nda's shelf for her before I head home from my holiday.
