Journal Entry 1 by Tintti from Jyväskylä, Keski-Suomi Finland on Sunday, November 05, 2006
From back cover: "Never pass a bar that has your name on it", says the eight rule of travel; a very rewarding rule if your name is McCarthy and you're wandering through the west of Ireland." Not as funny as Round Ireland with a Fridge (which is also in my BC bookshelf), but an amusing read anyway. Edit June 20, 2009: Reserved to Chania as RABCK.

Thanks Tintti, I enjoyed this book very much! I loved the dry humour of Pete McCarthy which appeared in little bits quite unexpectedly when you least expected it! I really want to go and explore Ireland myself one day too! I looked pictures of some of the places the author went from the internet and I so wish I could be there too! Now sending this to by non-bookcrossing friend, I hope she enjoys this too and maybe finds it useful one day!
