It has arrived with 8 other books in the series.
I thought a status update on this book would be appreciated. I have started reading this book. I am reading concurrently with a few others at the moment.
I am about 1/4 of the way in to the book. I hope to finish this book over the weekend.

I love Agatha Raisin Mysteries. The stories are funny and well written.
I enjoyed this mystery and wondered if Agatha and Charles might be becoming a real couple. The ending was somewhat of a surprise. I enjoyed learning about the Fairies.
I hope to read another Agathat Raisin and The Uncommon Reader and mail all to Bug2004 at the same time.

Massive Agatha read this weekend...fun as always. Sorry for keeping it so long! Mailed off today.
I've caught this one, along with the other 8 it was traveling with, safely in Ohio. In order to try to get this spiral moving again, I'll try to sprinkle these books in with the other rings/rays that I'm working through and start passing them on two or so at a time, to prevent anyone else from having a stack just waiting for them.
I keep my profile updated (on a weekly basis) so you can see how these are faring, I hope to have them all on their way by early Nov, sooner if other rings/rays stop showing up in my mailbox.
Thanks for including me in this spiral and mailing these to me.
Update: 1 Jan 11 - Finished this on a couple weeks ago and decided to finish the last one in my possession before I mailed these on. This one was okay, I've read too many in the series lately and I'm not enjoying them as much as I could have.

On its way to Canada, it should arrive in the next month or so.
I received five Agatha books today. I'll have them on their way as soon as possible.
Thanks, sunfi, for sending them to me.

I finished this Agatha mystery yesterday and I've started the last one in the batch I have. As soon as I've read it, I'll mail them all on to the next reader.
Tinina67 asked to be skipped, so I sent this book and four others to FrancesinSA by surface mail today.
Hardcover book received today along with four other books. Thank you jumpingin for posting them to me.

Agatha is still trying to get over James and runs off to Norfolk where she rents a cottage. Sir Charles joins her there as they try to find the murderer. I was wondering throughout the book where Scrabble was and we find out at the end of the book. I thought that the ending of this book was rushed and abrupt.
Posting today to Tinina67 in France.
And another Agatha!
This was not as good as the others, but still a nice Agatha story. I like her because she is a bit of an Anti-Hero and so human. ;-)
Now on its way to Chich!

Is this really the end of my current Agatha Raisin marathon? What a shame! I was having fun reading all the books back to back (and not in total disorder as I usually do)! I like it when Agatha investigates away from Carsely from time to time (except from the Cyprus adventure which I didn't enjoy at all), it gives Beaton the opportunity to introduce quite a few eccentric characters:) I was delighted to find out that James was away again in this instalment of the series and that Agatha was investigating with Sir Charles, fun fun fun!
Updated Jan. 20, 2012: neither Jozebedee nor Bookwormteacher have responded to my messages so I will be sending the book to HerbertLooby.

Hmm. I picked this up from TiffanyAching on Sunday, but looking at the journals, it appears to be part of an old book spiral. As I've already read it, I'll see if I can find out where it should be and get it moving again.
Icila is visiting Edinburgh this weekend - will take all the Agatha Raisin books from the spiral to her hotel.
A lot of thanks Cassandra2020 ! The books were waiting for me at the reception.
We had a marvelous time in Scotland, my group and I.
So many kind people in beautiful landscapes.

And a third for the road as we say in French. ;)
What a well travelled book!
Thanks for granting this extra WishList, and sending this book alongside another two for the WishList Tag... this calls for an Agatha-readathon!!

Currently reading this book that has been travelling since 2006... an American hardback edition!
What can I say? I really enjoy this series... :)
This time, Agatha travels to the village of Fryfam, trying to put some distance between her and her neighbour James Lacey... he is becoming an obsession!
She rents a cottage, although initially she intended to sell her house at Carsely and move... and there she is, cats and all, trying to solve the mystery of the fairies (are they real, dancing at night at the back of gardens, or just a hoax?), and of course, one or two murders... This time she has help by her faithful Charles, who travels to be with her. And she even has time to lead a rebellion with the neglected housewives of the village, who aren't welcome in the pub!
Regarding her cats, here is a quote I liked:
"How nice to be a cat, thought Agatha bitterly. No hopeless love, no responsibility, no bills to pay, nothing else to do but wait to be fed and roll around in the sun." (This has also crossed my mind at times...)
Thanks for granting me so many pleasant hours of reading, Icila; this will soon travel to another avid reader... :)

Wow, what a well traveled story. I received this today as the winner of Round 19 of the Mythology Sweepstakes. I have no experience with the Agatha Raisin series, but I'm looking forward to starting with the Fairies. Thank you all for sharing!
