book arrived the other day. It's first on my tbr-list.
This book is very hard to rate. I give it 7/10 because it really is a great anthology but it didn't pull me in as much as I had expected. I found myself skipping many stories and I keep wondering why I couldn't finish them. I have no solution. Native American History has been a hobby of mine ever since reading Kleiner Bär und Weißer Vogel by Nanata Mawatami at age 11. Since then I read many novels and specialized books about and from Native Americans. Maybe I didn't finish some excerpts and loved others because of it beeing an anthology and a wide selection of many different writers.
I appreciate the chance of reading this book. So thank you for starting this ring and letting me be part of it.
Will contact RikkiDD for the adress.

The book isn't really an easy read but the perfect structure of the topic makes it much easier than you maybe think.
There is a great variety of authors and the different parts of literature, but for me personally the literature of the Inuit belongs to Native American literature as well. I missed this area very much although I know that there isn't such a larch amount of writers.
