Journal Entry 8 by Niksu from Helsinki, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Thursday, December 17, 2009
Such a good book it made me wonder why I haven’t pick this up earlier! Gripping and confusing. First few pages were really difficult, it makes one think whether to continue and try to find out what’s going on, or to be annoyed and throw the book aside. In my opinion, slightly not holding it’s grip till the very end but all in all a good book and way better than Remains of the day!

Thanks bluecat07 for this book! I offered this on a Finnish forum and erpax was really quick to accept it. The book is now on it's way to Tampere.

This book was offered on Finnish bookrelay - again. Sorry, VariC that I've been busy and therefore forgetful, but I'll post this book tomorrow!

29.1.2010. I found this book covered by a great pile of papers on my desk at work ... I was amazed and ashamed. Nomen est omen? Now, Never let me go is on its way to Berlin.

Journal Entry 13 by VariC from Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin Germany on Monday, February 1, 2010
The book is in Berlin now. Thanks a bunch, erpax!

Journal Entry 14 by VariC at Schöneberg, Berlin Germany on Friday, June 3, 2011
A really wonderful reading experience. The narrating voice of Kathy was so good, I just wanted to keep reading. I liked how the reader doesn't really get to know anything general about the students' situation and the environment, just what the students themselves know. I also read an observation of this book somewhere, how the reader is in a similar situation as the students, always not getting quite enough information to understand everything but only so much that the next pieces become acceptable, yet there is never a point where one can react to the complete situation as a whole.

The book is here, thank you VariC.

Creepy, confusing, but really, really beautiful. I liked this a lot. Thank you ann-718my, and of course VariC for sharing.

Quite many bookcrossers have this book on their wishlists, so I think I'll let it travel to another continent as a wishlist surprise.

*** Edit Sept 1st. Not really another continent, no. Cannot resist the chance to send my first book to Russia. Happy reading, taisafinskaia!

And this wonderful book goes to that part of the world where it has never been - South America! And exactly - to Argentina (where I wish I could go myself).
Maria Fernanda enjoy reading!

Journal Entry 20 by Anna-O at Buenos Aires, Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Capital Federal) Argentina on Monday, May 13, 2013
Well, thanks a lot!!! A very fortunate book, having travelled so much!!! The book is safe now in Argentina and I am sure myself and the local group willl enjoy it quite a lot. Thanks all involved!!

Journal Entry 21 by Anna-O at Buenos Aires, Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Capital Federal) Argentina on Tuesday, April 29, 2014
Wow!!! This is probably very close to being one of my favourite books. It mesmerized me. I couldn't do anything else but read Kathy's little school stories, her loves and friends and future while in fact every word read "donation" "donation" "donation". This is sinister as psychoanalisis has it: the familiar gone terrifying.
It really had an hypnotic quality on me. At every page you're expecting SOMETHING will happen, someone will react, something. But of course....

I'll have to decide what to do with this book, either pass it to my local group or pass it along so it keeps travelling.
