Ghost Of A Chance is the first book by Yasmine Galenorn I've read, and I definitely want to read more. This book could be characterized as a paranormal cozy mystery. Emerald O'Brien can see spirits, and when the ghost of a murdered woman asks for her help, she becomes an amateur sleuth against her will.

I enjoyed reading about Chiquetaw, a small town in Washington state, and its inhabitants. Emerald was a refreshing heroine, as she had two kids and an ex-husband. I liked that all the main characters had well developed personalities and that the budding romance between Emerald and Andrew seemed very realistic. Andrew wasn't perfect, which made him so much more likeable.

I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

I picked this up from the book buffet on the ship. That was the only buffet I had there...
Luckily I had a bag on wheels, as we walked around Tallinn dropping off books. Although one wheel kept dropping off each time I lifted the darned thing. All went well when I was dragging it, which is the main thing.
Annelis hasn't mentioned what she thought about this book. I took it as it said Tea on the cover, but now I get to read from CandyDarling's JE that it is a paranormal mystery. That is a new one for me, let's see how I will like it. I do like the actual cover better than the one which is on the picture here.

Oh great, now I'm stuck with the Ghostbusters theme song in my head! ;D
Thank you so much for sending this, kirjakko -- it looks very much like my cup of tea, indeed (even if I'm sitting over a pot of coffee as I'm typing this)....
Most of all, I adore the postcard though. Now let's see if I dare keep this book on my bedside table -- maybe I'll be able to channel some amazing Finish cookie receipes from the other side? ;)
