Die Eisphinx
2 journalers for this copy...

I found the book on the 17th of october in 2006:
My little daughter, two friends of mine and me were on a little walk near a beautiful ruin of a castle in Hattingen (Germany) when I suddenly stopped and picked up a book lying there in a corner.
One of my friends said that it was a "book on the run" because she already heard about bookcrossing. I really liked the idea and because I also like books and reading and I didn't know the "Eissphinx" by Jules Verne yet I took it with me and read it - and I enjoyed reading it. After reading the "Eissphinx" I left it in the cafe of the "Musikschule" in Bochum - other people should be able to share my pleasure about the idea of bookcrossing in general and last but not least this special book :-)

Okay, this will be my last attempt to leave a message in the book's journal:
I found the "Eissphinx" by Jules Verne on the 17th of October in Hattingen (Germnany). My little daughter, two friends of mine and me were on a walk around the beautiful ruin of a castle ("Burg Blankenstein") when I suddenly recognized a book lying there in a small corner. I picked it up and one of my friends said "it is a book on the run" (you see she already heard about bookcrossing). I liked the idea very much and beacause I also like books and reading I took the "Eissphinx" with me and read it (with pleasure). After reading I left it in the small café of the "Musikschule" in Bochum (another town in Germany) - other peaople should be able to share my pleasure about the idea of bookcrossing in general and of course also about this special book. Bon voyage!
