5 out of 10

Normally I like Tempe Brennan and her mysteries - however this one was boring, far-fetched and somehow not credible. The cover text states "... a spirited rival to the Da Vinci code..." however I cannot agree.
The murder of Ferris was not that intersting to allow her to leave her office and to fly to Israel, although the plot wants to make us believe that.
The fact, that the tomb of the familiy of Jesus has been found was a strange invention. I have the strong impression that Reichs wants to support the book from her colleague James Tabor. And I don't want to be manipulated and therefore will not read his book.
Summary: I was rather disappointed...

Read as part of the challenge, due to a yellow cover
