This was one of my parent's books - was originally released (Non-BC) onto the SLPL's Buder Branch paperback exchange shelf a couple of months ago. As it was still there, I decided to nab it back & register it here for a "proper" release - for Tick-Tock 2006.

From the back of the book: "Amy Vanderbilt answers the most frequently asked questions about etiquette in this unique guide to good manners. Here is down-to-earth advice on proper behavior for hundreds of personal, social and business occaisions. Manners for teenagers, divorcees and widows, children, doctors, tourists, business associates, acquaintances, close friends and relatives, funerals, christenings and other special occaision etiquette. Entertaining - hosts, guests, parties, celebrations, gifts, food & drink. Engagements and weddings - showers, the reception, manners and dress for bride, groom, parents and guests, second weddings, invitations, gifts, anniversaries. Comprehensive, easy-to-use, up-to-date." Found this at the hospital when my grandmother was there due to burns to her body. I haven't read it yet but it looks fun. :-)
