FROM THE BLURB:
"Didi Wood is nine months pregnant, doing some last-minute shopping before the baby is born. Stepping out of the air-conditioned Dallas shopping mall into the cruel heat of the parking lot, she hears a voice behind her... and the nightmare has begun.
Abducted by an increasingly unstable young man, Didi must endure an epic drive across the Texas plains, heading through the relentless heat towards a destination that only he knows.
Meanwhile, her anguished husband Rich is on the trail with an FBI agent who may or may not be as good as he says he is at rescuing hostages."

The blurb interested me so I picked this up at a library sale for 20c. Strangely, when searching through piles of books for something to read, I discovered I had TWO copies of this book...purchased on different days from different libraries! It has a different cover to the one pictured above. It looks like this -->>
You feel immense sympathy for Didi and admired her courage in a horrendous situation. It was OK but I was a little disappointed...I found it dragged a bit. The ending was nail-biting!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
UPDATE 16/6/08: Had a look to see if this had been picked up...It mustn't have been labelled clearly enough as a free book....some kind soul put this in the lost & found. I reclaimed it and will improve the labelling for future release.
