What I love about Maeve is her story telling ability...her characters are all so unique and believable. I usually am sad when I finish one of her books.

Couldn't put it down, but really, it's like popcorn -- you can't stop but it's really not all that nutritious! I do like Maeve Binchy, but this was not one of her best, I don't think. The characters were a bit too interchangeable. I much preferred Scarlet Feather.

I got this book through Paperbackswap.com and will probably put it back up for swap.
