Per the back cover ... of the two pupil barristers in the prestigious chambers at Caper Court headed by Sir Basil Bunting, only one can win the coveted place of junior tenant. Anthony Cross is brilliant but up against it - for his rival, the not very bright Edward Choke, is Sir Basil's nephew.
