Journal Entry 1 by Louhi from Oulu, Pohjois-Pohjanmaa Finland on Thursday, September 28, 2006
Kirja vaikutti minuun kuitenkin todella suuresti 1990-luvun alussa. Kirjassa on Hugo Hiibus -nimisen henkilön piirroksia. Nimesin hää-My Little Ponyni tämän mukaan Hiibus de Luzeksi. Kirjoitin siihen aikaan myös tarinavihkoja, joita nimitin Osa 1, Osa 2 jne. On erittäin mahdollista, että sivun 141 kuva vaikutti käänteentekevästi tähän Osa-sarjaan siten, että päähenkilöiksi tulivat ihmisten sijasta luurangot.

What an interesting book! I enjoyed this book very much. This book is exactly what one (at least I) think about Estonia in it's earlier days. Thank you Louhi! Just to mention: there are some pages that tell about artists missing. This book will be part of my Book From Every Country -challenge (Estonia).

Thank you very much for this book. It is representing Estonia in my Book From Every Country -challenge. At the same time I can get a glimpse of the past life of the Estonians which I do not know very much about. Some pictures made me laugh and some were not easy to understand at all. I will post the book to Sheeseeker as soon as I get the address. Posted the 12th of January. This book is my #35 in Keep Them Moving Challenge by Guineveve This books also represents Estonia in my Book From Every Country Challenge

I liked the cartoons - some were hard to understand indeed, but I think it's ok if you keep in mind when and where they were drawn. Some of them were very political, other covered everyday life. A good mixture... Thanks a lot for the ring, lunatum. I'll send it to hendertuckian asap...

Journal Entry 10 by hobbit from Surabaya, Jawa Timur Indonesia on Thursday, April 05, 2007

This book arrived to me today, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with it. A quick glance showed some cartoons that I didn't understand, and others that were very funny!

Journal Entry 11 by hobbit from Surabaya, Jawa Timur Indonesia on Tuesday, August 14, 2007

I don't know why I didn't add a journal entry sooner after I finished looking at this book. I must have gotten distracted. Anyway, I enjoyed these cartoon panels about modern mankind and am counting it as my book for Estonia in the Olympic Challenge. When I got to the end of the book, I found that a few pages are missing - but since there's no plot, it's not a big problem. Since clearly the binding is getting a bit brittle, I will not wild release this but will hold onto it until the right time to pass it on carefully in a swap, or to a friend, or some similar occasion.
