Picked up at the meet in the George and Dragon in Upton. Don't know how it got from Stevenage to Upton - maybe with Whiteraven13, cos she is staying in Hitchin at the moment? Anyway, I've got it now, and am quite looking forward to reading it, though it may take me a while to get to it cos we've just had our offer accepted on a house!

I'm about halfway through this book now, and I have to say that it was a real struggle putting it down last night in order to go to sleep! It's got really "juicy" and I just wanted to know what happened next! I was only going to read a little bit before I went to sleep, but it ended up being almost an hour. So unsurprisingly, it was a bit hard to crawl out of bed this morning.
It started off pretty slow, so I was a bit wary of how long it might take to read the whole thing, as it's rather thick, but if it continues as it is now, I don't think it will take very long at all to finish, especially as I have a day off tomorrow when I'm planning to have a nice long lie-in and read loads...

I quite enjoyed this book. It's very thick, so when I was at the beginning it was hard work to hold it open with one hand (especially as my hands aren't very big!) but once I got further in it became much easier.

It was obvious that at least two of the characters would end up together, but some of the twists I hadn't "seen" coming - like the one about Matt. I'd guessed he'd disappear, but how he went hadn't even crossed my mind as a possibility! Poor thing :o(
So some aspects of it were more than a little obvious, but others were totally surprising, which made the book a fun read. A little slow at the beginning, maybe, but good stuff after that. I was amazed at how many times the characters each got married (except one) and lived with various males, but it seemed to be all in a days work as far as they were concerned! *lol*

I'll pass this on at the meet tonight, and hopefully I'll be able to persuade one of the others to read it, because I think it's worth the time.
