Sophie married at 33 and is widowed at 36. Her world spirals down, and she can't deal with her house, her job (PR manager) and even herself. With help from her mother-in-law and father she restarts her life. She sells her house and moves in with a friend. She gets a jobs as a waitress, but is demoted to salad girl. Crystal, her "little sister" helps Sophie as much as Sophie helps her. Sophie eventually opens her own bakery.
