The cast and crew of Japan's number-one prime-time show were shooting on location in Oregon's magnificent High Country. Tony Pratt, former advertising executive turned successful mystery novelist, was helping with local casting and location scouting near the scenic Short Falls Indian Reservation.

With only three more major sequences left to shoot, the picture looked like a successful wrap.
