This book was recommended to me by several people who said it was "their story too" so I was curious. Some of them were chic and seemed to have their act together very well, and yet....

Liked it. I agree that is is a sort of universal woman's life story, although the details are different for each person.

I agree with other BXers that the first part is very depressing. This is yet another book that the publisher claims is funny, that is not even light. I also agree with someone who said the last part is over-long, but that is forgiven because it gives the reader more time with the character Delores. Overall, I would definitely recommend this novel.

I was putting gas in my car when I discovered this book just lying on top of the gas pumps. I picked it up and thought it was a neat idea, so now I'm reading it and plan to release it as soon as I'm done.

As I said prior to this entry, I was putting gas in my car when I discovered this book on top of the pumps. I saw what it said and took it to read and I'm really glad that I did because I really enjoyed to read the book. It really hits close to home for me and I'm sure for other women as well. Things that we get caught up into that we dont even realize until your already there. It gives you inspiration though on ways to get better and shows you that you can get out of a slump if you really put your mind to it. Now that I finished the book I plan on releasing it to a good friend of mine and hope that she too will enjoy the book and release it so that others can enjoy it as well. I will keep track and hope to see the book traveling throughout different people and hopefully throughout different cities as well. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
