a wishlist RABCK to someone

Journal Entry 2 by wingem64wing from Tampere, Pirkanmaa / Birkaland Finland on Tuesday, September 26, 2006
A perfect surprise book - I have read the other Mma Ramotswe books and liked them a lot. Thank you piiku for arranging the raffle.

Journal Entry 3 by wingem64wing from Tampere, Pirkanmaa / Birkaland Finland on Saturday, September 30, 2006
I liked the previous books in the Mma Ramotswe series and the last one was not an exception. There is something so nostalgic and endearing in the calm life in Gaborone. And you can find a lot of wisdom there too.

"Mma Ramotswe sighed. 'We are all tempted, Mma. We are all tempted when it comes to cake.'

'That is true,' said Mma Potokwani sadly. 'There are many temptations in this life, but cake is probably one of the biggest of them.'"

I had joined a ring (hosted by loveamystery)for this book but that had got stalled. As I had received this one as a RABCK from Piiku I thought it would be just suitable if the book continued in the same spirit its journey and offered it as a replacement which loveamystery kindly accepted.

This will be going out to revive a stalled ring of loveamystery's. It will continue on the same path that she laid out which is below.

Here is the link to the original journal.

Daily life continues in Botswana. This time Mma Ramotswe has her own secrets that are about to reveal. Again slowpaced but enjoyable and quick read as the other books has been in this series. Perfect for lazy weekend.

Thanks to loveamystery for organizing the ring. I have already Pm'd rosiewhippet and waiting for her address.

Journal Entry 12 by quico from Coimbra (cidade), Coimbra Portugal on Monday, December 4, 2006
The detection problems were easy to solve (as usual). The set and the caracters were great (as usual). No surprises, but I like a female detective with a traditional body and a husband who really trusts her.

Another cute, light and amusing installment of the goings on in Botswana and the collection of characters about the detective agency.

I am taking this along to Melbourne Meet Up tomorrow, to see if there is anyone keen to read it.

Journal Entry 19 by TramGirl from Ballarat, Victoria Australia on Wednesday, May 9, 2007
Picked this up from last nights meetup as it was leftover on the table. I've read this so either take it the local OBCZ or save it for the 4th Australian Bookcrossing Convention here in Melbourne in October.
