Journal Entry 1 by IrasCignavojo from Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Friday, September 22, 2006
In June I celebrated 3 years of my Bookcrossing with my 1000th registered book. Three month later now, this week, I have reached 1500 books on my BookCrossing shelf, 1100 registered by me...
...and I'd like to celebrate with you all.
My registered book 1111, in my 4th year of bookcrossing, coincides with the BCID 4444444 - so I'll make this a special book, a bookring of all of you who'd like to join, to write a note in this handmade book of handmade paper.

I started the book on the 4th International BC-MeetUp in Frankfurt, May 17-20, 2007.
Our new BC-CEO Scott (redsoxbookguy, or RSBG for short, gave me the honour of writing the first entry into it, followed by Elhamisabel, cinda-rella, Krimtango, Dani75, raffizack, Delfinetti, RikkiDD, toshokanin and Diotallevi. After him followed, eochaine, Meeresbrise and Kathy74656, followed by Blu77, Arcon and QuoVadis, who in turn were followed by Saguna, FannyNatalie and Poppy17.
There are entries by Zartbitter and Oedi, by Pepperminza and Streetlife, by Krismopompas and Ekorren, even by an Anonymous Finder.
Thereafter the entries by Gizmopuddy and Inkognitoh, by DerHeitzer and Bean Sidhe, Whipcord and ekaterin4luv, by Xeraphim and Pantalaimon.
Even a BCer to-be, Yaltana and experienced BCers Molyneux, GirlFromIpanema are present, as are FuzzysBooks and Missclippy.
I talked to Roobarb14 and MrBennet, to Dresden organizer Galion and Frankfurt organizers Kroe and Lambrusco27.
Famous BCers like Cliff1976 of wishlist fame, and less-well known BCer like d-vineland are in the book - and there is room for you...

Thank you that I was allowed to be one of the first to write in this book. I'm afraid I was not very creative, though.
Ich hatte am Frankfurter Himmelfahrtstreffen die Ehre, mich in diesem Buch verewigen zu dürfen. Iras, es war sehr toll dich kennen zu lernen, bis bald mal wieder!
As I already wrote in the lovely book, it was great to see you again and to sign the book.
Have fun with it and many new entries.

Happy book crossing!
