An easy & lighthearted read. Abby is very open about her life & is likeable -- it's reassuring to know that attractive women with glamorous jobs have similar man-shaped woes as yours truly.
The sexual content is a bit same-y --- I know, I know, there's only so many ways to do it --- but seriously, repetitive use of the word 'cock' does not automatically make something sexy.
I was particularly partial to the "guides" that are scattered throughout the book. They made me giggle :)

Thank you! I'm looking forward to reading this as I read her blog. It such a shame one of the papers outed her true identity, especially when she then went on Sharon Osbourne's show and appeared so likeable.

It's hard to review this as it was material I loved reading the first time round on her blog, but in book format, I guess the "story-driven" aspect of it didn't compensate for it being the second time. That said, if you haven't read her blog and enjoy well written, amusing, entertaining sexual encounters and someone else's neuroses, it's great. She's definitely very likeable and I found lots of situations and opinions that I identified with.

I liked this book although after a while it got a little repetitive.I think this is probably better to read as a blog because reading a lot of it at once it started to really get on my nerves.
It's a nice quick read though and there are some amusing moments.

First of all, many apologies for not journalling this when it arrived. I've been a bad Bookcrosser lately.
Hmm, I think I liked Abby and her attitude to life more than this book. I agree that as a book it was a bit repetitive and I didn't find it particularly sexy. I found myself respecting Abby though for her carefree, liberated, non-angstful attitude towards sex. I agree that it works better as a blog, and I've started reading her blog.
I have to say though, I have at least two people on my LJ friends list whose journals would make a much more interesting book than this. Don't all rush to see who's on my friends' list, now :)

Apologies for the delay in writing a journal entry for this book.
I have to admit that I have not finished reading the whole book - I became bored! There is just too many stories like this around at the moment. While I read the book, I could never envisage it as a real truthful diary - it was evident to me that the writer just wrote the book because sex sells. That said, the book was entertaining in places, but not enough so to distinguish it from the thousands of sex blogs freely available on the internet.
Cyzaki has asked to be skipped and I am sending the book on to CaterinaAnna.
