A nice easy read, I had fun with it!
I couldn't resist one of the pink gifts Kat bought with her to the Meetup.....;-)
Chick-lit Chick-lit......
The story was nothing surprising or special, but it was a good chick-lit read! The book is all written in emails, so that gives it a special twist.
In the middle, I was a bit bored with the story, but then it could catch me again.
So, if you want to read something pink, that's surely a good option!

Journal Entry 4 by SabinaLorenz from Wien Bezirk 19 - Döbling, Wien Austria on Friday, September 21, 2007
taken at the Ladies' night - it caught my attention because of the e-mails that build up a book - I thought this is an interesting way of writing a story

A cute story, even if the end can be anticipated from the very beginning.
The idea of using e-mails was interesting and the different characters could be distinguished by the different ways of writing.
It was not the first book I read, in which e-mails were the only way of communication, however it is a rather "old" one - so maybe it was one of the first.
I would have liked to read a little bit more about Mel's reasoning why she finally accepted John's proposal, however I didn't reduce the number of stars given to the book only because of my interest in those e-mails.
As a summary one can say, it is easy-to-read chick-lit, but one of the better.
