This book follows in the grand tradition of Irving novels.....very quirky with a host of unusual characters. All in all, a pretty entertaining read.

You read an entertaining book and think it's good, then you read something like this and realize what it means by excellent writing. There are a lot of subplots and characters, includes one of crime-solving for a serial killer.

how absolutely hilarious! no idea when or where i released this book but it's been gone from my shelves for quite some time. today i stopped at my local CVS drugstore to pick up a prescription and there the book sat, well read, propped up against the windows near the entrance. no sticker on the outside but when i checked, sure enough there was a BC sticker inside so i brought it home to journal knowing i'll be heading for FL in the morning and can get it some extra travel along the way. had no clue this was the copy i personally had read and released at some point in the past 2 years. the book will go into my bag for FL so i can get it moving again...wish i knew where it's been and who's enjoyed it in the last 2 years but it's traveling so...

left on the bench out front near the entrance doors. picked up and gone when we finished lunch. hope it is read and enjoyed and that someone helps it continue it's travels!
