Noticed a book by Sherwood Smith that I hadn't heard of before, on the library sale shelf, and picked it up. I looked over the rest of the books, and discovered that there were two more, by different authors, but part of a series--but the kind of series where each book can easily stand on its own. A little young for me, but they struck me as good bookcrossing books, so I bought them.
Wonderfully well-written! Almost up there with A Series of Unfortunate Events and Narnia in terms of sophistication.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Left three from this series in various places in Chestnut Hill. I think this is the one I left on the Library steps. I was going to go into the library, but it wasn't open yet, so I sat down across the steps from the book and read another book I had. Other people showed up to wait, and when one of them discovered the book, I of course pretended complete innocence as to where it had come from. And then--lo and behold--a woman turns up with one of the other books I put down earlier, and all of us exlaimed over the coincedence, and what a neat idea it was. I think both books ended up going home with a woman with two small children. I hope they enjoy it!
