I have really enjoyed Paul Johnston's futuristic crime series set in edinurgh, and so had high hopes for this one. Although it is by no means a bad book, it isn't particularly great either. It was a bit long winded, so wasn't able to keep up the pace required in a thriller.

My partner is fan of Johnston's previous books, so I was delighted to find this on the BX shelf at Always Sunday!

Thanks bookfrogster!

Journal Entry 4 by Triggerfish from Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom on Thursday, October 26, 2006
My partner thought this was over-complicated and not a patch on the Edinburgh series.
However images of Greek islands helped considerably.
