Released at the bookcrossing meetup last night

A deeply disturbing story of a child that was abused constantly by her mother. I almost can't believe anybody could do this to another person, much less to ones own daughter. At times I almost wanted to give up reading, because it made me so sad. But I am glad I didn't, that I went all the way.

I like the way the book isn' emotional, it just tells its story, the story of a woman who worked very hard to overcome the twisted love of her insane mother.

It's almost impossible to believe that somebody could do that to her own daughter! Not only the medical mistreating, but also the general abuse. It's unbelievable that something like that could happen.
