I read quite a few Alan Dean Foster novels in high school, one of the first science fiction authors that I read a lot of~ but I'm afraid I can't remember much about this one specifically. Hope you enjoy it~

Found in the Perpetual Sci-Fi Bookbox. Mysterious ruins of an ancient civilization? Sounds like my sort of Sci-Fi.

I began reading this book fully expecting to abandon it by page 50. The beginning seemed to be the inspiration for both Armageddon and Deep Impact and was somewhat tedious. However, after this section, the book became much more interesting and compelling, rather reminding me of Rendezvous with Rama. I quite enjoyed it.
