Well I would have to say this little book was pretty average chick lit. A very easy to read story with an extremely predictable ending. Would make a good read for the beach or somewhere else where half your mind is still asleep.
Hopefully someone else will enjoy this more.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Arrived today thanks sarahbear. Looks like quick read so I should get to it shortly.
A very quick easy read, I enjoyed it and the characters were likeable but I don't think it was up to McInerney's usual standards. Thanks for sharing, have PM's sleepydumpling for her address tonight.

Mailed to sleepydumpling today 2 Feb....
Came to me as a bookring, looks like a great weekend read.
A fun bit of fluff for a quick read. Nothing that required too much thinking, but it was well written and the characters stuck with me well.
Passing this one on to the next book ring participant.

FRESHLY CAUGHT! Well... received. Thank you, sleepydumpling, for the lovely note you sent with the book. Appreciately greatly. The book has such a gorgeous, bright cover! I've been struggling so hard to read "Unfeeling" by Ian Holding (another book released by sarahbear that I feel dreadful about having had for so long, but desperately want to finish!) but it's such a challenging, confronting read for me that this Monica McInerney book brings sweet relief! I haven't read her before... I started reading it last night before I went to sleep and have already knocked over a quarter of it. It's very sweet so far, and I love that I have been to all the places mentioned in the book so far! Hurrah for Australian books! Thanks everybody, I hope to have it finished very quickly and then... Well! Who knows?

I finished this book within a couple of days of starting it (quite the achievement for me nowadays). I don't know... I liked it. It was cute. It had a nice little chick-lit thing going on, but it wasn't a Marian Keyes-esque work of genius. Ultimately, it was a little dissatisfying, but I'm sure it'd be great to read on holiday by the pool with a glass of something bubbly and endless amounts of chocolate-dipped strawberries.
I have passed this book onto my best friend (not a BookCrossing member yet) to read. Will keep y'all updated on what she thinks!
