This arrived in the mail today. I was surprised at how *full* the book is -- the words run so close to the edges of the paper! My fiance, eyes wide, exclaimed, "Well, *that's* creepy!" but he's looking at the cover, not the inside. Of course I had to ask him what he meant. "That used to be my name," he explained, nodding toward the cover.
Apparently some real D'Urbervilles of the old world eventually evolved into Turberfields in Saskatchewan.
I've got a stack of bookring books to read right now, but am very grateful to RayneQueen for sending this book along to me. I'll get to it as quickly as I can. It is, of course, one of the 1001.
