Thank you, the book arrived. It's number 2 on the to-read-pile, so I'll get to it soon...
Thank you for the book and sorry for the long delay! I did like it, even though the ending was a bit predictable and boring, but the story and allegories of decay of human nature were nice. I can see what makes this a classic in world literature.
The book will be sent to the next person in the list when I get the address.

Arrived thanks for sharing, should get onto this shortly.
I was lead to believe that this is a book that everyone should read and I must say I wasn’t that enamoured about it. The characters, Simon apart, were quite boring and I found Ralph, Piggy and Jack quite annoying and wasn’t the least bit bothered what happened to them.
I understand how it shows, and I quote, "how civility created by man fails and how man always shall turn to savagery, using the allegory of a group of school children trapped on a desert island who attempt to govern themselves and fail disastrously." but as a story it just didn’t get me focused on it.
This is being sent to RayneQueen and will be in the mail tomorrow (1st June 2007)

I've received it, thanks. I'll start reading soon.
How horrible. Isn't it enough to have to see what humans are like in real life that we shouldn't need to read such depressing stories?
I'll send this on to phactcapella as soon as I can.

I mailed this to Bluemchenblatt today, as phactcapella never responded to my messages. Sorry it took so long, I was moving and the book got packed.
