4 journalers for this copy...
I purchased this specifically for release, but having skimmed through it, I realize I will need to buy another copy just for me!
Dover Thrift Edition
Dover Thrift Edition
I just received this today and am looking forward to reading it.
I loved this book. Being an avid reader, I loved reading all the quotes. This book will be on my personal collection for awhile.

Received today, with an early Jan postmark. Is a shorter book, so will probably get it read soon, and will edit this with something intellegent about the book!
This is a really really really good collection of quotes. It's probably the most well done quote book I've read.
I've been reading this on and off since I received it. A page here, a page there (I have learned not to read a quote book straight through). I had it sitting on my desk and I'd read it while waiting for something online to load, then it was buried for a while. When I moved I set it next to my bed, and finally finished it.
The editor has chosen a very wide variety of very interesting quotes. They all have to do with books & reading but that is a very broad subject, and it is rewarded with a very broad selection of quotes. The quotes vary in length as well as breadth, but all the quotes are the right length. :) The book is short, but this is just fine; it just includes the cream of the crop. I'd post the ones I liked, but that would be difficult because rarely was there a page I did not find some wisdom to treasure on.
This is going on my shelf until I can find my own copy. Anyone who loves books and reading should have a copy of this book.

*laugh* watchcat sent me a RABCK copy before I found my own! Thank you so much, I absolutely adore the calligraphy on the card & the cat stamp. :)
And now...I have a cunning plan for what to do with it next to continue its journey. I thought of an idea, and it will take a couple months to come to fruition (though noticing that the price of the Dover Thrift edition has now jumped to $2.50 it may or may not happen), but just hav eto wait and see....

OK, this resurfaced. And I'm afraid to say, my cunning plan did not come to fruition.
I had hoped to use these (and the Devil's Dictionary also in the Dover Thrift Edition) as the favors at my wedding.
However, even as the Thrift Edition, they were just too expensive. And there is no volume discount on them (I had to ask, but was not surprised at the answer). $1.50 we could have swung, but they were up to $2.50, and that was a bit out of our budget when it came down to it. During final wedding planning this was buried, and just now resurfaced. Oops.
We ended up with small blank books instead. Which, while nifty, weren't nearly as entertaining as these would have been. Now, I will figure out what to do with this copy.
