Synopsis:

Thank you Virgulina, the book arrived today. It looks as goods as the other Sheila O'Flanagan book I've been reading. I'm currently finishing other book for book ring, then I'll start on this one.
My goodness, 600 pages. I sort of like that, especially if the book sucks me in.

I finished the book yesterday. It was rather quick to read, the English was quite simple. I liked it, really was anxious to know how things would end up for Alix. I think it was Alix's total independency and career-oriented attitude that irritated me a bit, probably because I'm not exactly like that. That's why I couldn't understand some of her opinions of life. To be honest, I WOULD like to be as strong and as able to climb up in workplace society.. :D
The book reminded me a bit of Cathy Kelly's works, though she has a bit more dramatic life changes for her characters. But I'd recommend her for everyone who likes O'Flanagan books. Thank you Michelle1977 for sharing.

18/3/7 update
At first thought it a bit slow and not as good as "Anyone But Him". After the first third it picked up it's pace and half way through I am really enjoying it.
Alix irritates me at times (illness, not taking good advice etc) but this is the skill of the author, like Isabel Wolfe, to get under the skin of the reader and turn this book into more than a bit of fluffy chick-lit.

Got this one in the mail last week while I was out of town. I'm looking forward to reading it!
Just finished this one. I was a little bored with it at first, but I decided that I liked it and kept reading. Turned out to be a pretty good book. The ending could use a little work, it seems abrupt, but it's still okay. Thanks for sharing!

Arrived today! I guess it will be in my TBR for a little while since I already have one ring ahead of it. But I'll get it moving as soon as possible!
I've started reading this book, put it down for a while and started again. And as much as I hate doing it, I had to abandon it before its end.
All that financial talk was getting to my nerves, and i found the book a lot technical. :-0
I'll only be able to send it forward with my next paycheck, by the end of the month, but I'll PM Caridad for her address.
